Driving Maize & Blue is Stephanie Campbell's transportation service for the University of Michigan community — six years of rides for students, parents, and guests, built on 30 years of extensive knowledge of the UM system as well as the resources of the city of Ann Arbor. Every ride is scheduled and paid for through Rides2U, so booking takes a couple of taps and there's never a mystery about who's picking you up.
Stephanie has driven students to and from DTW at every hour, to Detroit for concerts, Windsor train station, other universities as well as locations in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and doctor's appointments, and once to Toledo at 3 a.m. to catch a train during a winter storm. Reserving ahead means no last-minute Uber cancellations or surging and no waiting in the airport pickup line for an hour or longer after a late night flight.

We offer every student a ride share when one's available. Since we can't control flight schedules, sometimes timing just doesn't line up — we monitor all flights, and if they don't match up, we won't make a student wait more than 10–12 minutes for other riders before heading to campus.
During busy break periods, we encourage ride shares — most students live within about 5 minutes of each other, so it's easy to accommodate.

Schedule your airport pickup according to your landing time — we monitor flights and know the timing to the curb once the plane lands (about 30 minutes wheels-down to curb with no checked bags, 45 minutes with a checked bag). DTW, campus, dorms, apartments — enter your locations and preferred time.
All students on the same flight will ride back to campus together in the same car, pending how everyone's luggage fits in the vehicle.
As much as we'd like to get friends landing at the same time from different flights or terminals into one car, it's difficult to coordinate during busy break periods and whenever flights run delayed.
Payment is collected securely on Rides2U at the time of booking — no separate invoice needed.
You'll get driver details ahead of time. If a flight's delayed, we adjust — no one gets left stranded.
When students are heading to and from campus all at once, we may need to adjust your driver depending on flight timing — we'll communicate with you when that happens. Drivers can sometimes change a few times before you're picked up.
